EXPORTING DATA FROM SIMS
Once all your teacher assessments have been entered into SIMS you can analyse the data in Tracker+. To do this, you must first export the data from SIMS.
Begin by logging into SIMS and go to:
Focus > Assessment > Marksheet Entry
Find both, '_Tracker+ Data Files (Part 1)' and '_Tracker+ Data Files (Part 2)' and double click to open the marksheets. You will need to export both marksheets. There's a lot of data in these marksheets so it could take a minute or so to open and compile the data. Once the marksheet is loaded click the 'Export' button. If you're asked, export the data as 'Formatted'. This will export the data into Microsoft Excel. Once in Excel, click File > Save As and in the dialogue box that appears give the file a name. You might want to call the first one 'Data File 1' and the second 'Data File 2' so you can distinguish between them. You can leave the format as XML Spreadsheet. Once you've done this please close the files you've created.

IMPORTING YOUR DATA INTO TRACKER+
The final step is to import your data into Tracker+. Open Tracker+ and click the 'Import data' button and select to import either Teacher Assessments (Data Files 1 & 2) or Test data. Select the correct file in the dialogue box that appears and the import will begin automatically.

Tracker+ will now begin importing your data and building your analyses from it. It should take approximately 20-30 seconds or so. When it's done we'll let you know.
