EXPORTING YOUR DATA FROM SIMS
Once all your teacher assessments have been entered into SIMS you can analyse the data in Tracker+. To do this, you must first export the data from SIMS. It's important to make sure you've setup any custom vulnerable groups or sets before you do this. You can set these up in the 'Define your Vulnerable Groups' marksheet in Assessment Manager.
Begin by logging into SIMS and go to:
Focus > Assessment > Marksheet Entry
There are two marksheets that needs to be exported. Find, 'Tracker+ Master Basedata Export 1' and double click to open the marksheet. There's a lot of data in this marksheet so it could take a minute or so to open and compile the data. Once the marksheet is loaded click the 'Export' button. If you're asked, export the data as 'Formatted'. This will export the data into Microsoft Excel. Once in Excel, click File > Save As and in the dialogue box that appears ensure you choose 'Excel Workbook' from the 'Save as Type' dropdown menu. Call this document 'data1' (case sensitive).
Next, find 'Tracker+ Master Basedata Export 2' and double click to open the marksheet. Once the marksheet is loaded click the 'Export' button. If you're asked, export the data as 'Formatted'. This will export the data into Microsoft Excel. Once in Excel, click File > Save As and in the dialogue box that appears ensure you choose 'Excel Workbook' from the 'Save as Type' dropdown menu. Call this document 'data2' (case sensitive).
Close the files and go to Step 2.

IMPORTING YOUR DATA INTO TRACKER+
Take a deep breath. From here on out everything becomes a whole lot simpler. Tracker+ will handle everything for you. The final step is to import your data into Tracker+. Begin by opening the data files you created in Step 1. Once they are both open click on the 'System Management' tile on the home screen and authenticate with your System Management password. Once you've correctly authenticated you will be taken to the Import Screen automatically where Tracker+ will already have scanned for your data files and will tell you whether it's ready to proceed.
All that's left to do now is click the Computer icon.
