EXPORTING DATA FROM SIMS
Once all your teacher assessments have been entered into SIMS you can analyse the data in Tracker+. To do this, you must first export the data from SIMS.
Begin by logging into SIMS and go to:
Focus > Assessment > Marksheet Entry
You can either choose to export Teacher Assessment or Test data. Find either, '_Tracker+ Master Basedata Export' or '_Tracker+ Master Basedata Export (Tests)' and double click to open the marksheet. There's a lot of data in this marksheet so it could take a minute or so to open and compile the data. Once the marksheet is loaded click the 'Export' button. If you're asked, export the data as 'Formatted'. This will export the data into Microsoft Excel. Once in Excel, click File > Save As and in the dialogue box that appears give this file a name (it doesn't matter what you call it and you can leave the format as XML Spreadsheet). Once you've done this please close the file you've created.

IMPORTING YOUR DATA INTO TRACKER+
The final step is to import your data into Tracker+. Click the 'Import data' button and select to import either Teacher Assessments or Test data. Select the correct file in the dialogue box that appears and the import will begin automatically.

Tracker+ will now begin importing your data and building your analyses from it. It should take approximately 20-30 seconds or so. When it's done we'll let you know.
